Castle Yard of Handzame

Retelling the history of Handzame through its forgotten myth; an existing castle reveals a hidden garden. A series of chambers run parallel to the train tracks, recalling the design of a Renaissance garden that descends in degrees of cultivation from the country estate, to the formal garden, and subsiding into wilderness. Each room posesses a unique character and reveals layers of asphalt, cobbles, concrete, and grass set amongst birch groves.
