Jazmin Charalambous operates on the cusp of art and architecture. She uses photography, historical research, drawing and model-making to craft situations that provoke flashes of understanding to ignite between people. She graduated from Delft University of Technology with distinction in 2018. Her MSc. Architecture graduation thesis titled ‘An incidental meeting of parts’ realizes how techniques of theatre can be used to subvert developer-led public spaces increasingly designed for management, focusing particularly on the new redevelopment of Wembley Park, London. Her current practice investigates the relationship between scenography, social exchange and the built environment through design and research.
